Christmas Eve was spent with Grandma and Grandpa Sailing and Izzy's Great - Aunts and Uncles.

When we got home, Izzy saw that Santa had stopped by her house!
She was so happy... I love this picture.



Santa brought Izzy a sit~ n~ spin and a tricycle and a few other things.
The sit~ n~ spin and tricycle were her favorite!



Christmas morning we woke up and got ready to go to Abilene with my parents and Grandma.

This is Izzy's new slide. She is now an expert at it. She runs up and down the slide many times a day.

Great-Grandma Maxine and Isabelle

Late last night my Grandma and Izzy's Great-Grandma Maxine passed away. She had been fighting lung cancer for a very long time.

I am so thankful that Don, Izzy and I took a trip out to see her in July. It was a quick trip but we had a great time. I will always remember that trip. It was wonderful to spend that time with Grandma and to show off my Isabelle to her. Isabelle really loved her Grandma. She would follow her everywhere she went, and when she would go take a nap, Izzy would cry and cry by her door. Izzy also walked for the first time during that visit.

She was an amazing woman. She could always hike faster and further than any of us kids... she worked hard and took care of so many people.... we will miss her and we will remember her forever.

After lunch Izzy had to change her clothes. This is a usual thing... we always change after lunch.
Anyway, the outfit I tried to put on she didn't agree with it. I took her to her dresser and had her dig through her drawer. This is what she picked! She LOVES these pants....

Not much going on today. Izzy has taken a record loooooong nap. Every time I started to clean something up... I would put it off cause I knew she would wake up. If only I would have done ALL of those things... or napped myself?!?
Tonight, we are going to go and look at Christmas lights... tomorrow, Izzy is meeting with Santa and then going on a Candy Cane Adventure...
