A CIrcus Parade

Last night, Izzy, Don and I went downtown for the Shrine Circus Parade. It was Izzy's first parade. She kept her fingers in her mouth most of the time and everytime I would try and put her on the ground she would cry until I picked her up. She was not sure what was going on... when we got in the car to go home she started to talk about the parade... we had a great time!

If you zoom in you can see the fox. He was in the park by the river... where we got lost!

Where does time go?

She rocks so fast it has come close to going over...

She has started to pick out her own clothes... YIKES!
Later on this day she went to Grandma and Grandpa Sailings.. she got so many new Easter toys... her favorite are Lightning McQueen and Mater and their race track. Can't believe Grandpa gave up his toys!!

On Thursday Ruven came over for the day. We had a blast! His back was sore.... Izzy gives GREAT back rubs!

Grandma Sailing brought us all Happy Meals!

Ru wants to know who Izzy is talking to??

nack time! (that is what Izzy calls it)

Ahhhhh, what a relief for me... They slept for almost two hours!

Mommy needed Braum's AGAIN! Thanks Daddy and Izzy for making Mommy's day.

Izzy and Daddy painting eggs for the Easter Bunny.

He brought Daddy and Izzy a basket... the cats wanted some of Izzy's treats.

Izzy ran to the door to see what the Easter Bunny brought.

He also hid all of Izzy's eggs she painted in the basement... she loves to hunt for eggs.

Are there any under here?

Yes, Izzy is at the head of the table.

Izzy LOVES strawberry shortcake.

mama, papa and Izzy.

Izzy, and grandma and grandpa Sailing

Four generations. Notice Izzy is only good for grandma and grandpa Sailing

This is Izzy today... she rode the pulley many times at gymnastics. She is turning into such a little gymnast. Front rolls, balance beams, she really does enjoy it. After gymnastics we headed off to lunch at the zoo with her buddy Jacob and met up with Ruven for a stroll! She had to keep the boys in line. I have pictures but they are on my phone.. hopefully I will add them later.
Hope everyone is well... sorry about taking so long to post pictures! Gotta go and get Izzy out of the tub and let Daddy have a break.

Easter box, surprise visit, and Easter Egg Hunt...

Yesterday when Izzy woke up from her nap she had a box full of Easter goodies from my parents and Grandma.
Thanks to Ma, Papa and Great-Grandma Betty for all of my Easter goodies.

Yesterday afternoon we got an unexpected phone call that ended up with an unexpected visitor. My friend Hillary came to town for a short stay but it was needed by all of us. Hillary, Don and I stayed up until 2:30 this morning playing Wii and talking. When Izzy woke up she was excited to see that she was still here and took her to an Easter Egg Hunt and then lunch. Hillary is on her way to Ohio right now... we already miss you and we wish you a very safe trip... we know that you will be OK. Everything will work out!

Izzy getting ready for "The Hunt!"

She was the most adorable and best dressed little girl there. Look at that smile...

After the hunt we had to play on the slides...

Izzy only got one egg... there were so many little ones there. But she did get a surprise. It was a surprise to me also... a bunny full of gumballs! Yikes, it was even marked for the 0-24 mth old kids!!!
